I bought that kit several years ago, but I used Quadratec's stainless steel mount instead of the one in that kit. I like the setup.

I want to put a CB into my truck at some point... Was looking a that one... Trying to decide if I prefer that or a full featured one w/ SWR meter in it.

i had that one in my TJ when i first got it. now its in my shed as it only ever sort of worked. Seems moisture got in it at some point and never worked very well from day one for me. I like the midland model myself. Its convertible to hand held or can be run off of a 12V plug. Midland 75-822 40-Channel 2-Way Radio I also have a cobra hard wired now.....

I think you can order just the box and wiring if you want to use the same hand unit in both the truck and 3b. Usally cheaper then two whole setups. If you don't think you will need a CB in both at the same time.

I had it, bought it from the same site... trashed it a few months later. Bought a midland to replace it.

looks like another sad fellow trying to compensate for small equipment size.
