HF Portable oxy-acetylene rig

Saw this on the HF sight http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/d ... mber=65818

Thought it might be good to add to the tool shed. Lists for $300 but HF is always throwing out a X% off coupon. Anyone have this setup? I'm thinking it might be good for the light stuff I'd like to do... like torching off bolts or some light brazing. And it looks small enough to add to my trail kit. I'm not looking for an industrial setup, I don't have the need or the space

Comments?

I wouldn't bring an O/A setup out on the trail. It's too dangerous, IMO.
You can cut and blow bolts away just fine with typical welding rod.

Don't know if I'd keep it in the vehicle as part of a trail kit (something about the thought of high pressure tanks full of combustible gas in a vehicle that could potentially end up in a high carnage incident......)

Other than that, they're fine for light duty stuff. Just don't get carried away with doing a lot of cutting! You'll be going through LOTS of oxy when you cut!
