http://s154.photobucket.com/albums/s265 ... age004.jpg
This is the piece that ended up on the other side of the road after I hit the guard rail

I am ok truck damaged still driveable I drove it home LOL trailer needs fenders
My 1st Thought was Jeep is still I good Ican still wheel it I didnt want topull it off the trailer With the trailer not attatched to any vehicle Standing a 18 foot trailer on end on the side of rt 101 is not a good idea So I didnt gowith my 1st thought LOL

Re: My saturday Fun I had a GREAT TIME yea right
Thanks,
I wish I got a pic of the guard rail It was pushed back 1 1/2 -2 feet the post was almost flat on the ground 2 sections on each side were bent
For a impact like that was going 50 when the rear end kicked out so the guard rail impact was at least 45 mph it broke off the plastic under the bumper and tweaked the bumper from a 45 mph hit I Love a Chevy 2500HD PU 45 mph impact it tweaked +bent slightly the ft bumper
The BEST vehicle I ever had in stock form The rear end is a mess jack knife a 6000lbs trailer + cargo You going get damage plain+ simple But I drove home and the truck goes straight when i take hands off wheel My little honda accord doesnt even do that LOL
Get this Highway Department sand truck was there in about 3 - 5 min they were on their way when i crashed When he came I told he should of not stoped for that last coffee Thats why I crashed Then i started to laugh he asked if I was ok I said never have been never will be But I am not hurt and I started to laugh He must thought i hit my headLOL
If you can laugh about it its all good

Re: My saturday Fun I had a GREAT TIME yea right
just got a phone call this morning that my truck is being fixed damage is a little over 4500
Oh for all you people that tow your jeep check your insurance to be sure that trailer is covered I need collision on my tralier My truck insurance covers property damage for the trailer and such not My trailer gets damaged is is NOT COVERED The damage the trailer causes is covered fine time to find that out I fixed the trailer damage with a hammer and black paint

Unless someone runs an aluminum trailer, I don't think the added cost of collision on your premium is worth it. Even more so if you have fab skills.
