So the wife's XJ has an exhaust leak and I am not sure if the section is the catalytic converter only because there is no O2 sensor connected. Just my luck to have a complete SS Magnaflow system only to have a exhaust leak before the system....

So it this the catalytic converter and if so.... what would you recommend for a replacement? Is this a special order part?

That is the cat, but I'm not sure why it wouldn't have an O2 sensor in it. Call some local parts places, but I imagine it is a fairly standard part.

Since your setup is welded you'd have to get a pipe expander to reconnect the pipes... Or get an exhaust shop to weld in a new one.

You seem to be missing the heat shield too.

Pulled the heat shield a couple months ago. Looks like to get an OEM style I will have to order the catalytic converter.
