Steering component, what is it called???

Noticed some slop in my steering wheel and it is due to the following part. Problem is I don't know what the part is called or where to purchase.

The support bracket bolted to the frame supporting it is the "Bracket Intermediate Shaft".
It appears the bearing dohickey around the shaft is part of the shaft according to the OEM PL.
The name is "Intermediate Shaft Upper" PN 55315014AD

I wonder if you have to buy the whole shaft.... $180 is pricy just to replace the bearing.

Kurt, is that a new version of a rag joint? Is there one hidden behind that wiring connector?
Don't remember seeing one in my '00 TJ parts Jeep, but then again, Chryco did go to the German boxes when Daimler bought in.
