4.0 and 2.5 Air Intake Diffrences. are their any?

so i was wondering what the differences are in the 4.0 and 2.5 Intake differences because i want to get a cold air intake... no more mud or water crossings for me just trail riding.. so i want one and i found this one for 68 bucks and its for a 4.0... im hopefully getting a 4.0 TB and i have a TB Spacer coming in the mail.. so will their be any difference once i put the 4.0 TB also anything i might have to fab with keeping the 2.5...

The 2.5 intake is smaller than the 4.0... I've heard / read you can swap a 4.0 throttle body onto a 2.5 and get more air in with some stock 4.0 parts. Try google and see what you come up with. Joe may know details...

lol yes i am alive ive just been swamped with paperwork and trying to get FASFA stuff done before the end of the month (but my dads being a PITA saying he will do it but its not DONE!!! lol)
but you know ill just buy it and if it don't fit im sure one of my 40 or so jeep friends who have 4.0's will buy it off me LOL it shall be an adventure!

The outer diameter of the TB where the intake hose bolts on is the same between the 2.5L/4.0L. The 4.0L TB has more material machined out on the inside. I'm not sure about the air filter box. I doubt Jeep would have built two though.
