best place to buy R&P?

So I toasted my pinion shaft this past weekend. Where do those of you in the know buy your R&P? All i know of in that realm is Randys R&P. I need a D44 R&P with 4.10s for a Rubi axle.... What I found odd on his site is I found D44 4.09 and 4.11 but not 4.10s... I assume that is some mathematical quirk but IDK.... Any recommendations on good brands or R&P while I'm at it? Don't mind upgrading to stronger than factory.....
thanks
jeff

I agree with John.
My last 2 R&P's I got from Lou and had him install them.
R&P installs I leave to the pro's like Lou to do.
It takes special tools and you really have to know how to set up a R&P. Screw up and the gears and bearings are toast.

I 3rd Lou. Gears and install, all in one shot with a friendly smile.

Wow, that sucks!
About Lou -- me 4th.
The 0.01 differences are usually something you don't worry about... 4.09/4.10/4.11 are all considered to be the same thing. If you want to switch ratios now would be the time to give it serious thought.

I will check with Lou, but I happen to have a master mechanic across the street from me who is very capable. his hobby is "go fast" stuff and antique cars but he does well with my junk when I need him... He's currently working on a hot rod for the Bonneville salt flats and is hoping to go for the world record in his class. he does not mind if I buy and bring parts and Ive chatted with him before and gears are something hes done a lot of...
Hes a great guy and hosts a classic car show a few times a year over the summer.
Here is his salt flat car on roller tires:
every good race car needs a parachute...
a wee bit of power here....

I forgot about the shop that's near you. The work he did on your rear suspension looked great. I think he would be a good choice too. Maybe you could hint about sponsoring the Jeep rally or other event - just an idea.
His salt car looks pretty good, but having started in drag racing, he definitely has his work cut out for him with that BB Chevy and what looks like an old Offy tunnel ram. See if you can find out what class he's running. I miss the old hot rod days.

that is the engine that came with, he has his own that he's dyno tunned.... missed the record by a close margin in someone else's car and his engine. Decided to have a go at it for himself and bought the rig pictured above... wish I could give him credit for the truss but that was Tony/Heyzipyourfly from NewEnglandJeepz, he has mad fab skills....

I can vouch for tony's skills! I saw him the other day around Salem. That airhorn on his Dodge will wake you right up!
