ome nitrocharger leaking
I went out to get in the jeep this morning and found a small puddle of fluid under my rearend. At first glance I thought it was brake fluid but after looking around I found that my pass. side shock is leaking. I bought them just over 2 years ago (warrenty is 2 years) but they sat in the box for over a year and I only put them on a few months ago (probaly have about 1500-2000 miles on them). I havent contacted OME yet but was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem? I am going to contact them to see if they will replace it. We will see.

I guess the only upside is that I put fresh bolts in the upper mounts about 3 months ago when I replaced them so it shouldnt be a huge hasssle to get that bolt freed up. (It was a total Pain in the ass to get the 15 year old original bolt out!)

My front and rear OME long shocks are about six years old. So far no issue at all.

Good news! I contacted OME and they said they would be more than happy to replace the shock for free. I have to take pics of the leaking shock and fill out a form. But they said once that is proccessed they will ship me a new one. Thats some good customer service (3 months after the warrenty expired)
