Chopped (saw tooth) tires

This is happening across the whole tire but only on the passenger side.

At first I thought it was a "bad" tire because Dom said that the LTBs will sometimes do this after a year or so of use but after I swapped the two front tires the passenger side is doing it again. So I am guessing not a tire issue. Should alignment be the first step or is there a bad joint?

My guess would be to check the unit bearings and ball joints first, then alignment.
