The guy who answered talked to his manager who said there was a "bad batch" of maybe 10 - 15 units that they are not capable of tracking down.
They were all sold to lou!

Just emailed Jeff, included a copy of my receipt from 4wd.com as well as a picture of the current condition of the rock rails and he replied back in a very short time that they'd send me new ones in January when they are in stock.

So I was wondering what was going on with the rock rails since Body Armor told me they would get a shipment of the beefier ones in November. I was hoping to get them for Christmas
Here's their update - they'll get them mid-January now.
"Hello Tony,
We have been waiting for the new shipment of TJ-4121?s to arrive for a while now. We were quoted they would arrive the end of November or first week of December but were then informed it was a month behind schedule due to shortage of supplies. The firm arrival date for that shipment is the week of January 17th and we have an order ready for your replacement to ship out as soon as they arrive. The new ones are made with much thicker material and should not have any problems with them denting. We are sorry for the delay and will contact you right before shipping as to give you some notice. If you have any other questions or concerns please let me know.
Jacob with Body Armor"

No word yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it's springtime before we get replacements...

Did you guys call personally? I got a pair of those from Lou. Do you have a number or contact person?

I had to call the main number on their website - 951-808-0750.
The person who answers will transfer you to the right person if you tell her you need a replacement due to a quality control issue. If you end up getting someone's voicemail, just call back until you talk to the right person.
