Having driven, worked on and owned damn near every make model Jeep built I have to ask whats going to be the task for it?

Weekly cruise night when its dry and nice or everyday and all year long thru rain sleet snow mud?

Vacuum wipers suck. Wet feet suck too. Cold sucks as well.

Wheeling? The old open diffs only go so far.

The older rigs have a coolness factor, but having driven old MB's CJ2A-7's, Forward Controls, and FSJ's in the dead of winter, all winter, I'll take the latest model with heater and hardtop there is.

I think CJ-3B's are the ugliest of CJ's.

IMHO the V-8 powered,TH400 Auto, Commando does it all well, and it's still cool and unique.

Back in the early 1970's I had one that I used weekly to drive up and down the Mt Washington Auto Road and never had to stop to cool the brakes, 4 low with front lockouts worked great.

The one in NJ looks like a reasonable deal... The one in ME is basicly a hacked together fake, so I don't see why anyone would pay $10k for it...
