oh, it is totaled. hahaha, but I made out on the deal.. or as much as I could.
They could only value my truck as a stock since Massachusetts doesn't cover modifications in insurance.

so my truck was valued at 8500 (BOO! so low) minus deductible and salvage fee (bid from junk yards) is how I got that amount.

THEN, because the year of the truck (1998) they do not require me to get a new title OR have a saftey inspection after repairs.

So, I have some money to either buy new parts, or ask for estimates for local places and have them repair it.

Amanda you can buy an unmolested 97 TJ for 3500 with a 4.0L if you ask me you scored! I dont think 98s are a lot more. You can likely get a new tub for cheap and do a swap with a new cage etc from the bone yard... Kai found a rubicon for under 5K IIRC from a CL ad I posted...
1970 Jeepster- stock
2003 Jeep Rubicon 2" BDS Spring lift 35s and MCE fenders
2012 Jeep JKU 2.5' Terafkex spring lift, Rock Hard Bumpa, skids, BodyArmor4x4 sliders..
