My kid had an older Taurus that had integral e-brake calipers. Don't know if they and be made to work.
what about using a cutting brake on the driveshaft off of the T-Case?

The route I've been considering is brakes off a later model Mustang or Crown Vic. I've seen some stuff on e-bay that MIGHT work, but I'd like to get to a junk yard with my measurements in hand
