Cassandra: Digging up more then you expected, or exactly what you were hoping for?

Just what I expected with a few gory details I was not aware of to boot. He didn't dig, just dumped.
This one will be good.

Dan, originally swapped in a 60hp 1.6 turbo diesel. Should have left it at that. Rebuilt a 1.9 AHU TDI with internals to support 200+hp. Using the electronics and accessories from an ALH. Have the harness built. Engine is sitting in there along with a 5 speed swap (stock automatic trans was horrible with the 1.6td). Needs to be wired up, cooling, intercooler and exhaust systems plumbed along with a bunch of minor things. Haven’t touched if since original posting (or for years before actually), I haven’t slown down at work yet. Really wound like to get some time on it, it’s taking up valuable garage space.

Well to answer the question it basically took about 20 trips to the garage to just say yeah maybe tomorrow. Motivation is missing from my life, but I did get the metal melted back together finally and added a few gussets.

Jim: You move that 1-ton yet? Get that table built?
The 1 Ton brake project started....and I ran out of fluid lol thought I had enough to purge out the lines but apparently I did not. More has since been acquired and Ill get that moving along hopefully next weekend.

As for the table, I got the bench well along of the weekend and am working on the leg design for it.

Most of the work has just been cleaning and rearranging, not worth pictures or seeing.

I did finish this over the weekend though. Started life as a Revell 1st Gen Bronco and added aftermarket 3.5" suspension lift, 3d printed rollcage, and 35" MT/Rs, Warn winch with synthetic line and bumpers. Raided my spare parts bin to add a power brake booster and converted the engine to EFI. Aftermarket distributor too, with correct firing order for EFI. I tried making a hawse fairlead, but failed and instead made the roller fairlead have the urethane replacement rollers instead. (only a wheeler would know that though, most modelers wouldn't)

I ripped the diffuser for the lamp so I tried to make do with a white grocery bag. Didn't work so well and still has a big hot spot.

Finally moved the jeep for some spring cleaning. Made some progress on the axle swap, got the brakes back together, need to weld on the sway bar and shock brackets, but its actually sitting on four tires and moved outside so I could do some spring cleaning....
