Agreed those wheeling with open diffs sometimes do get the tires spinning and hopping because they don't have the traction they need and resort to the skinny pedal to try and get themselves thru a tough spot. Shock loads will certainly bust axle components!

Im currently in the process of the regearing. I upgraded my axles, shafts, ball joints, added air lockers front and back, and went with 4.56. I never plan on going bigger than my 35's on this rig so 4.56 is a perfect sweet spot for what I need it for. Everything is being built right now and hopefully should be installed in 2 weeks. The stock 3.73 is fine on the straightaways for the most part, but bog down on hills. It's not bad at first but over time you'll notice it more and more.
