Hey Frank love to have you by as well!! Its the same place we had the welding 101 class a few years back next to my house. I will send out the address when it gets a little closer. Updated the first post to plan a date and we can also work on Carl and Ralphs projects at the same time. :)

Looking forward to this as it sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Is there anything I can bring besides what tools I have?

ahhh got ya! the folks having work done can pitch in for pizza maybe... If you want to bring a few liters 2L of sprite/coke / diet coke I can bring some cups over....

and Amanda hopefully my welding stuff is quick and we can do some stuff to your rig. If Carl brings his toy we can have Frank, Carl and Kurt with good welding skillz so we can probably accommodate ya! :)

Okay, I'll bring a variety of soda and my wife said she'll make us a treat for me to bring as well. Maybe cookies or a banana rum bread.

Ok so I had a chance to talk with my neighbor today and we are on to use his shop! Its Legacy Construction and they are easiest to get to on Groton Rd in Westford MA The access road for the shop is a long dirt driveway up a slight incline between 28 and 30 Groton Rd, its a large blue industrial building with heavy equipment outside, as you go down Groton Rd headed toward Groton on the right hand side you will see a small pond and a circular driveway followed by 4 mailboxes together, the access road is immediately after the 4 mail boxes.

they are listed as 6 Millstone hill rd but its a sharp turn and easy to miss it. I will post my cell number when we get closer to Saturday.

I also have some posion spyder rock sliders I would love to mount if we have time, I can do that later but it will be a heck of a lot easier with a hand... :)

Carl are you bringing your welder and is it 110v or 220V?

Can we have a plan/run down schedule?

If I can't squeeze in, that's fine! I can take some photos for the newsletter since Carl will be hard at work ;)

Amanda the shop is fairly large if the second bay is open as its a two bay area with a separate area with a lot of machining tools (50 ton press, drill press, air compressor and about anything you need to maintain heavy equipment.) one side has a lift which may be useful for my frame patch but on the other side we can likely pull a JKU in with room for a TJ behind it so we can likely have several jobs going at once. I can certainly help bolting on armor and stuff like that and we can have Kurt and Frank advising us as needed on the various projects....

* welding my frame and welding on the tabs in front for the anti rock and remove and replace the sliders on my TJ
* Ralph has his steering stabilizer stuff
* Carl has some welding / cutting on the skid plates etc
* Amanda has some armor to put on and welding a 4x4 square area of tub rot

I have a small project.
It's a stock Jeep and I just want to turn it into a daily driven, rock crawling, overland expedition project that gets 20+ mpg and makes 300 hp.
Should I bring it?
