OK- I will now look at smaller gauge and cut and replace the hole :)

So far I have 2 plans!!

cut out the square, trace the cut-out and use that as a template to cut out sheet metal .. and..

1) weld in a new piece
OR
2) cut a piece and rivet in place and use body glue to seal it

Why do I have 2 options? Well, where the wheel well meets the side of the tub is where the rust is. Won't know til I cut her open to see what would make more sense!
