Ages 4 and up can go Chris, not sure how old your kids are.
They must of changed their requirements, as last year Cameron was not even close to meeting the requirements.

I also will be at the NEA meeting, perhaps change the date?

Ya they changed the rules!

Toddlers (ages 1 through 3)
Toddlers are not allowed to tube or be present near the hill or sliding area. Under NO condition may toddlers be placed in a tube, use any other equipment, such as sleds, or be pulled along by another individual.

Ages 4 through 6
We require children of this age group to be accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian at all times-minimum one adult to one child ratio. It is mandatory that the child wears a protective helmet while tubing if under 42”. If the child does not have his or her own helmet, one will be provided free of charge. However, the supervising adult must leave a security deposit at the ticket office. Credit card and drivers licenses acceptable.

Age 7 and above
Helmets are optional for this age group, but are not available at the ticket office. You must bring your own.

Adult Responsibility Form
All riders MUST review and sign the Adult Responsibility Form to acknowledge the rules, regulations and safety requirements. Parents must sign a form for themselves and any child under 18

You know who my friends are, you may even get a present from one of them soon. And they will be at the NEA meeting as well, I think two are delagates also.

I almost need non Jeep friends (but where would I steal my parts from)

Chris, I chose the date because we are surrounded by a meeting, winter runs, the superbowl, and then the start of school vacations. I do try to accommodate things when I plan. As you know, one cannot please everyone, and this date will stand as the thread is already getting responses and people have seen the date and replied yes. School vacations on that hill, or lots of other places too become very populated and people sometimes just aren't even around.

Perhaps we can do another tubing date in early March.

Meg, it will be wierd without you, as you have been to I think, all the tubing trips!

Kodi wrote::dance: Ok, we have done this before, we will do it again! Snow tubing! ALL are welcome!

I have checked a few of the options and the more cost friendly for families is Amesbury Sports Park http://www.amesburysportspark.net/

Their cost is $24 per person for a three hour block.

The hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tickets are sold in three or five hour blocks. Early in the day it is less crowded, so I will say let's meet at 9:30 a.m. and hit the lines/slopes for 10 a.m.!

Strongly suggest you check any size requirements for kids if you are planning on bringing any, DRESS for play in the snow! Layers are best! There IS a moving sidewalk and pulley system too to get you up the hill, or you can walk (waste of time)

Ask as many people as you'd like, this is not limited by trail size like our runs! The more the merrier! They have food and beverage on site, or plenty of local eateries!

Please post up here if you are interested in going/will be going! There will be no evite on this, as it is open to all!

Snow tubing; Amesbury Sports Park, Amesbury, MA
February 2, 2013 (Groundhog Day, we can either celebrate Winter, or kiss it goodbye!)
9:30 a.m. start tubing at 10!
$24 per person for three hours (optional is 5 hours for more...three usually wipes you out!)

should the weather not cooperate, and there is no snow, I'll keep you informed in this first post!

People coming;

1. Frank
2. Dan
3. Ryan (+some friends)
4. Amanda
5. Scott
6. Kelly
7. Doug
8. Nelson
9. Jennie
10. Eli

I understand fitting the date with so many other things going on, is not the easiest thing to do. But shouldn't the local NEA meeting should take top priority, especially with so many questions with the NEA. It would be great to have a good turnout from BSJ.

As I stated earlier Chris, the date stands.

While I understand your sentiments, and the issues the NEA has had lately. This is clearly underway. Not everyone will be able to make it and that is fine. Not everyone can make each and every meetup we have. I am considering this a NON Baystate even, thus the posting in GENERAL forum and I stated it was open to all.

Not everyone wants to, or EVER go to the NEA meeting anyway, so ...the date stands. Again....we can do more than one of these per winter. NOt a big deal. Really.

Carl, you are very welcome, have fun in Florida! you globe trotter you!!!
