Re: HELP! TRAILER LIGHT ISSUES

Okay guys - I followed everyone's advice tonight! First removed the 3 offending bulbs (one of which was the back light with turn signal) and then scrubbed the connections. Next I used the point of a sharp knife and "pulled out" the connections that seemed flattened down (the bulbs that had issues were very loose in the sockets). Next used the "magic grease" and inserted bulbs. And ..... THEY ALL WORK NOW! I got the two marker lights on the passenger side going by moving the wiring around (it is a brown wire). We will see if they stay lit during the trip. When I crawled underneath the trailer on that side, the plastic piece that connects the wiring together seems a little loose. I think that could be the issue - maybe just cut it off and rewire together using shrink tube or electrical tape. The passenger side turn signal works good too. Everyone thanks for your input here - appreciate it! Bay State Jeepers and its member ROCK!
