Day 5 is in the books and the reassembly has begun.
The exhaust manafold bolts came out  with issue. . I pulled the tranny and replaced the clutch, pilot bearing and hydraulic throw out unit . A quick power wash of the motor and a few coats of jet black to make it look young again :) Cleaned up the exhaust and intake ports then replaced the broken exhaust with a Rugged Ridge header. During the disassembly I noticed the power steering pump had a bad bearing so I now have a PSC High flow unit on order to replace it.
If the weather holds up I hope to get the drive train mocked up and begin the driveline mounting process on Sunday.

Got back from some quality time up north and started the reassembly late sunday.
Frame and axles got primed and painted along with all the under armor. Axles got remounted along with the engine, transmission and transfer case.
Front drive shaft got new u-joints and a coat of paint.Installed new transmission mounts and added a 1/4 spacers to motor mounts.Installed new PSC high flow power steering pump and attached steering box and linkage. Put in a rebuilt alternator and re-attachted engine harness.
Next comes the Gas along with the brake and fuel lines before adding the replacement tub.
With any luck I should be able to have it together mid week after a few evening work sessions after work.
By Wed /Thur I'll hopefully be turning the key and it will run

You are soooo picky.... First you wanted to have a frame without any rusty holes, now you want the jeep to run too! :-o

I took friday off in hopes of getting all together..
My biggest concern is any changes needed in the wiring from a 88 to a 92 that are not yet evedent. I'm hoping I do not need to swapp the dash and tub wiring.

I'm hoping I don't need the seat  but appreaciate the space

The weather did not allow for enough time to safely get' er done so I take that free seat :banana-guitar:
I need to swap the over the dash and harness so I want to take my time and do it once.

I wish the Kai had better tires...I'd wheel it

I had a feeling you needed to do a full harness change. Different computers, mechanical vs electric speedo, etc

No problem Dave... There will be a lot of open passengers seats.... mine included :)

See you there!
