I was reading Marks thread and realized I have not updated mine, so here goes...I sold the 81 Scrambler...it was too nice to do what I wanted.
So off to SC to buy an 82 Scrambler that was built and ready to wheel. Dana 44s, 4:10s, Detroit Lockers, SOA suspension, outboarded springs, shackle reversal, high steer, clocked Dana 300 t-case, custom flat skid, custom cage, custom rear bumper, Warn XD9000i, dual diaphram brake booster W/corvette master cylinder, custom CJ-8 rocker protection, 35" MT/Rs.
The day we picked up Elmer..package deal, got the trailer too!!

So far we've modded, and painted the cage. Added a CB, and a Tuffy console. Installed a custom dash with relocated Tuffy glove box. Added a radio and speakers...gotta have tunes. Bestop soft top. HD diff covers.

Future mods (in no particular order)...Herculine the interior, beadlock wheels along with more aggressive tires, repaint the factory roll bar, etc...

BSJ member since 2001.

This is not my first Jeep.
