I have tomorrow off. Planning on FINISHING IT tomorrow! In hopes of a nice test drive home to Marlborough and a test up to Westford for Saturday's meeting.

I may need to steal you during your lunch break, Mike!! I need an extra hand with putting on the doors.

I'm not going to be around tomorrow. I'll move the old tub out of the way tonight though.

planning on finishing it up on Saturday if anyone is around. I know alot of people helped out (thanks) but I also don't know if everything was reconnected, as in, why is there so many extra bolts and screws!!!

A good number were probably due to the fact the new tub had the seats etc, resulting in duplicate hardware...

KARMA is after me.. for sure!

todays non-progress:

1) Tailgate hinge is stuck... had to remove it, and its just plain ol stuck!
2) New BestTop rear window zipper is not catching correctly
3) Driver and Passenger upper door skins seem too small.. me and the hubby spent some time on 1 door then gave up and put the old skins back on.
4) I can't seem to find my other set of fender flare hardware... I even cleaned up Mike's garage a bit, and still nothing :/ . Looks like a trip to Home Depot is in order.
5) Wiper blades are not aligned correctly

Plus sides:
1) The truck STARTS!
2) I saved my old soft top... haha
3) Doors align properly

1) Go drop gate instead of swing out. cheap money to do it.
2) Did you hit the zippers with silicone spray that may help them move easier.
3) put the skins in a warm area to help them strectch.
4) for fender flares just zip tie them. Its a world easier and cheaper and if you rub a tree it will break the zip tie instead of wrecking the body.
5) probably just need to re-seat the assembly...

Good luck and glad it stated up!!

Congrats on getting the Jeep running again, but you really need some "To Protect and to Serve" decals on it to complete the look. :-o
