Unread post by nhdcoye »

So I upgraded my passenger side ,2 piece axle, to a single piece from a TJ ( Thanks Jeff) and need to secure a a trail spare... just incase
I was wondering if a the TJ 97-06 Pass side axle with ABS will fit my YJ as it does NOT have nor need the ABS.

Yes, it will fit. The only difference with the stub shaft, is the ABS tone ring. Back when I had a Dana 30, I used Yukon TJ stubs from Randy's Ring & Pinion which had tone rings.

Dave, I have an extra long shaft assembly you can have as a spare ;)
It's got the smaller 260 u-joint, but it'll work in a pinch.

Awesome, thanks guys... :-)
I am beginning to think I should call them repleacements instead of spares as they seem to be getting used alot lately.
May be time to ask Santa for some alloys

Get a Waggy 44. It's nearly a bolt in and alloys are about $500.00 for it.

Great. Sounds like a trail spare
. I located the NAPA seals ans got an extra to replace yours.
I need to get a Tom Woods center bearing rebuild kit from Lou and I will be back at full spares capacity
