Anyone have contact info for Jeep above the dealer level?

Unread post by Hoodoo Man »

I have had a very unsatisfactory customer experience at Clarke and White Jeep. Its really pathetic how they treated me and I would like to tell Jeep about what ambitious people they have working for them at this stealership. Would anyone have an email for someone above the dealer level at Jeep? I feel like if i send an email to a generic address at jeep it will fall on deaf ears... not that I expect anything to come of this I just feel they treated me shabbily and want to complain... :x

I'll check with a friend of mine who used to work @ Central in Norwood, I'll let you know if I find anything.

I've always had good luck sending snail mail to the CEO with his / her name on it. That info is easily found on the web, and such letters usually do attract some attention. If you do this, make sure your letter is clearly and carefully written with facts, relating conversations as accurately as possible, and without a lot of emotional content. You don't want it to sound like a crazy person ranting, but a reasonable person trying to help the company by bringing a problem to their attention.

Be aware that most dealers are franchised, so Chrysler LLC may be limited as far as what actions they are able to take.

Look up Chrysler LLC... They have to have some kind of phone number on the website and ask for customer service.

I still have all my correspondence from when I was having issues with the '08 I had. I'd be more than happy to share names and phone numbers.
I started with asking the dealership for the district reps name and # - it doesn't have to be Clark & White, it can be another dealership in the area.
They actually were hesitant to give it to me, but I finally did obtain it. However, by that time I was also dealing directly with Chrysler Customer Service. How I got started was that I addresssed my letter to the name on the "Hope you are enjoying your new Jeep" letter that I received about a month after buying the vehicle. That got me a call from the Customer Service Dept and it progressed from there. One of the first things I mentioned was that I was not a first time Jeep owner, that the '08 was my third Jeep in 11 years and probably wouldn't be my last so that they would know that I was a loyal customer. I don't know if that makes a difference or not, but I figured it couldn't hurt.
And I agree with Don 100% - stay calm not matter how frustrating things get, explain the facts plus I kept records of every single call (date, time, who I spoke to, what was said, etc). After all was said and done, the file was about an inch thick but I have to say, even though it took about 5 months and several dealership visits, the situation was solved to my satisfaction.
Now, my gripe was not with the Metro dealership I bought it from (although I did have issues with the now closed Bancroft Motors during the process) but with the Jeep itself, so I can't say how they would handle a dealership issue as opposed to a vehicle issue.
Jeff, I check my email more oftenr than forum, so if you would like the info I have, please send an email.

Thanks Pat I will send you an email.

[rant] I agree its best to stay calm, my biggest gripe is they walked away from a deal without negotiation of any kind. they advertised a price on a commander where i was essentially ready to cut a check and say SOLD and they came back with a vague "you don't qualify for all of the rebates" but never told me the break down etc. the price was suddenly 5K more than the sale price and all I wanted to know was what I didn't qualify for. Now we are talking about a gas guzzling left over 2010 discontinued model and they wouldn't return calls or talk turkey. I cant imagine the economy is so flush that we cant at least have a talk about the price or some sort of negotiation before we cut bait. I really feel it was a bait and switch and I want someone to know that they lost a customer and why. I am in customer service to a degree and if my people ticked someone off I would like to know my staff has issues... I guess I'm old fashioned that way...

I had bought my 08JK there and had a good experience which made me want to go back but after this I will never set foot in their shop again. I like the new touches on the 2010 JKs and for the right deal would consider a trade up on my 08. They knew this as well and that Im in a club so its not like i was a casual walk in off the street kicking the tires and offering 10k below the asking price. Bottom line is I had reasonable questions about a deal and they couldn't be bothered to reply or explain what was not in the offering

You can also take that to the better business bureau... It is illegal for a store to advertise a price and not honor it, though there may be fine print... If it was a price on the dealer's was a website and they was no print stating the qualifications it is false advertising.

Good luck with all that! You'd just be better off letting the masses know that they suck. I love the car ad's that advertise a new vehicle for $10,000 but the fine print thats sideways and you need a magnifying scope to read says *all incentives and rebates go to dealer. price reflects $6,000 down and your first born.
