Hey Frank - I passed you on Rt202 and blinked my beams. Had a night run with NE4W.

It was good to see everyone. Mark, your Jeep is friggn' cool. I wish I could have made the day run too and seen it in action.
I was off the trail about 10:30 and home by 11:45. Some of the trails to the left/right of the powerlines are cool. There was only one rock slope I had to bypass, but so did the 454 Chevy powered Landcruiser on 42's and Rockwells behind me.

It's too bad the Gutter will be gone. I think one more run in December is in order.

Joe I did see you flash. Was busy B.S.in . Thought you were tellin me there was a cop ahead. We had a blast. Had a new guy with me and that first ledge got his attention. Had wicked death wobble on the way to the trailer. Have to find out whats going on as that has never happened ever at any speed. See ya. More pics please ! FjR68

I was behind you when the DW struck and that was crazy - never seen anything like it! Your front and rear axles were wobbling 180 out of unison and feeding each other. The top of the front left tire would wobbled out when the top rear right wobbled out and then it flipped sides and kept going... it was really noticeable from behind but at least it kept you pointing straight  I bet you don't have track bars on your leaf sprung rig.

Here's a few pics of group 1.

Voodoo Chile - I put a nice big dent in my Body Armor rails!

Nick broke a left front shaft. Pulled it and kept going for a while and then took off.

Frank almost rolled but managed to drive out of it.

When we pulled off the trail the first time we had a loud tire rub whenever we turned even a little bit. When we pulled over to look we found a 3"+ diameter log jammed in between the control arm and the frame reaching all the way to the ground. I could move it around but couldn't get it out. Luckily someone was more prepared than me and had an ax in their Jeep! A few minutes of hacking away and we were finally able to break it free. I left the stump in figuring it would fall out once we got the front end articulated and sure enough it did.

All in all a very good day with minimal carnage or problems. I'm going to miss this trail!

Here are a few pics from Group 2. I didn't get too many, but at least I got a few of Mark's Willys in action.
