MOAB: 1 YEAR!
Alrighty, don't start sweating, I haven't made a video yet! Rally takes up to much time.
I was looking through my camera bag getting ready for a wedding tonight and found a 1G card with 600+ MOAB pictures I don't think I ever loaded on the PC. The LOST files?
Anyone remember this one?

I'm going to post one new photo every day till we go back. This will accomplish two things: It'll bring my post count up. and it will build excitement leading to the 2012 trip.

Let's look into an 18 wheeler to transport poor souls like me that want in on the trip but cringe at the thought of driving a 97 tj cross country. I want in on this trip but can't spend the vacation time driving there and back.

50mph across country would be painful. Your going to have to get a trailer or have it shipped.smileyfish wrote:i'll be wishing i still had my tj, top speed of 50 in the B. it's going to take an extra 2 days each way.

That little thing is so light that you could just pop the driveshafts out and flat tow it with the Rav 4.smileyfish wrote:i'll be wishing i still had my tj, top speed of 50 in the B. it's going to take an extra 2 days each way.
I am the foremost authority on my opinion.

Joe's next truck = Crew Cab Diesel (tandem trailer ).smileyfish wrote:i'll be wishing i still had my tj, top speed of 50 in the B. it's going to take an extra 2 days each way.
If not, we might have a motorhome, so you can flat tow with my truck.
Although, the more I think about it. Shipping would equal more wheeling time. We have much to contemplate.

Re: MOAB: 1 YEAR!
See... This is what I was saying when we discussed going out there again, and why I think shipping a better option... Is it more fun to spend the extra 3 days driving to/from or to spend them wheeling?ZAEDOCK wrote:Although, the more I think about it. Shipping would equal more wheeling time. I vote wheeling (or some other sight seeing type thing).

Re: MOAB: 1 YEAR!
We're looking forward to 2012, are we still doing the Rubicon trail and hitting Moab on the way back? We'll have a tow rig back in the driveway soon enough.
