Past GAJRs

Unread post by Scott »

I was looking through some online pictures of past Rallys when BSJ was the primary host of the event and noticed this pic.

Was there a wedding at the 2002 GAJR? if so, why?

Also noticed a pic of Norman there.

Sorry Joe, I like you with out hair better.

I could not find my friends dad's Jeep. Maybe it was before he got the windshield sticker.

Its funny to see some Jeeps that I've seen while working the gate or wandering around the rally.

HI Scott

Yes, there was a wedding, can't remember too much about it b/c I was doing parking duty all day so wasn't near the activity. That was one of the ones at Hebert's Candy Mansion (Shrewsbury, I think) Good location but not enough room, which is why we ended up moving.

Yep, I remember the wedding. WIERD, but worked for them.

Yep, Doug's XJ was very nice too....sigh. Another vehicle gone.

Those rally's were small but fun.

Hey Kelly - you remember that couple that took the Mark Smith guided tour up the Rubicon and got married at the overnight stop, halfway up? They were friends of Jan Griska, and members of Baystate for a couple of years.

Yeah, that's them. I think they paid for Jan and his wife's trip too, also it cost them a bunch to get the preacher up there, if I remember correctly.
Pretty expensive wedding, but hey, whatever floats yer boat, ya know?
