Warn M8000?

Unread post by Hoodoo Man »

So anyone know the deal with the warn M8000? Looks like its either being discontinued or a price drop (now ~539)... quadratec ad says while supplies last in the JP ad but its the same price on 4wd.com and warn... seems like a good deal compared to the 830 or so it usulally goes for... price is just about within reach at that level....

You may want to check with Lou or Dom and see what they can do for you.

most likely warn is coming out with a new line of winches and distributors want to be out with the old and in with the new... thats how it is with most things exp. tv's, gaming systems, cars, watches.. you name it

or warn just came out with some newer winching design that is more efficient than the old.

The M8000 is a nice winch... If you can get one at that price I'd go for it.

For the few $$$ extra I'd still go with a Superwinch EP9000 or EPI9000 (Lou stocks them)

The M8000 has been around for a long time. I had one on my Ranger P/U 20 years ago. I think I paid about that $$ too.
