Ah, I didn't realize the JL body is aluminum. @Derek Thanks for pointing that out.

Nice catch Derek. I thought only the JL doors were aluminum. Didn’t know the whole body was.

Speaking of aluminum and steel. Steel for skid plates. Synthetic for winch cable.

If so, do we just carry the registration and stickers, and not have to apply them? DaveJ
Just slap them loud and proud right on the side...I can see mine even in the avatar, its a conversation starter!

The MA OHV reg. is a BSJ requirement if you plan on wheeling in MA. It passed 2 or 3 years ago.

I have the MA OHV registration for 2023-25. The question was about permanently affixing it to the side of the vehicle or traveling with it in the glove box (as I hear some of the members do). The magnet approach won't work for me since the JL body is aluminum. The Mass.gov OHV pamphlet says "assigned registration number shall be displayed on the vehicle and not obstructed." That makes sense on my ATV but I was wondering about the practicality of permanently on the Jeep. Do you have it on the sides of your Jeep?

I use magnets but it is my understanding you can have them and the reg. in your glove box. I am not sure if that is true but I thought I read that last year when I renewed mine.

BSJ Members can read the discussion in the Member Section. Type in MA OHV Sticker, there are 4 pages of discussion.
