Need to regear

Unread post by Modeler »

Long story short, I drained the gear lube from the front axle to change it out. Metal shavings galore from the factory 4.10s, popped the cover off and sparkly diamonds, metal shavings everywhere and a ton of excess backlash.

I've recommended Ratchets to folks many times, but, has anyone used Keith for a regear?

If you have any other recommendations let me know. Going to go to 4.56s.

Thanks Mark.

As a side note, the last time I was in his shop, just around Independence Day, we were talking and it turns out Carl McIssac was due in the next week to get an LS swap on his TJ. SMH.
