Fabrication Help

Unread post by Famof5Jeep »

Are there any BSJ members that work at or can recommend a Jeep/Off-road friendly fab shop near Milford MA. I have the NV Alum belly pan and I made a hot mess out of the oil pan skid at the Killington JJ. I’d like to get it flattened out and a few improvements made. Looking for a heavy press, alum welding and steel fab 3/16”.

Kevin

Ocean State Offroad is in Warwick RI. Probably 45 minute ride but will fix you up right.

Elias doesn't support Wheeling anymore. He doesn't contribute/donate to anything the NEA does. Support those that support us.

Thx Mark. I found a local guy that can at least get the skid flat again. NextVenture finally got back to me and seems engaged in helping and letting me experiment with a stronger engineered solution.

Elias let all the workers go at the end of 2021. No more shop work since then. Lou was just selling parts earlier this year. Entire property including the shop has been up for sale this summer.

Chris Romeri +1 (603) 801-4190, Worked for Lou for years. Now does his own thing out of his barn in Southern NH. He did some rear axle work for me. Seems to know his stuff. Was a straight shooter. I felt his price was fair.

^this.

Chris is a great guy and is very knowledgeable about all things Jeep. I know him quite well and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
