Keith's and my point, was that if that Jeep ever fell off the jacks, the cable itself would drop a few feet. Yeah, it's only a cable, but if you're standing under it, it's gonna hurt.
No, I wasn't there. While it may have been "safe", what I'm saying, is why hang around ACTIVE winch cables? It doesn't matter how much tension there was. It's a bad practice.
