All metal radiator

Unread post by Baseshakers »

so i've been doing so research and I like the idea of this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-200 ... ccessories

there's no way i'm going with a plastic/metal one again, but i don't feel the need to spend $300+ on a three row radiator. anyone you guys can recommend?

The one you showed looks pretty good, depending on the quality. Unfortunately, that's something you'll never know until you try it. Let us know how it works out, though, it'll be good to have a source for something like that.

I have a radiator shop in town and I could price out a new one if you would like. I cant see you having a problem with a all metal rad , unless you hit it. FjR68

I've gottern 3 or 4 over the years from Radiator Barn.
Good prices, fast shipping.
Only downside is their packaging is sometimes a bit sparse.
Had a couple of rads get delivered and the filler necks were tweeked.
Just had to tweek them back a bit before installing them.
All have work flawlessly.

good to hear you guys have had good results from radiator barn. one question; i've heard that 3 row is actually worse in a TJ since the radiator is the same depth, therefore i'd be better off with a two row. (though radiator barn states that their 3 row is deeper) opinions?
