MetalCloak Fenders and rockers
With help from a friend up in Belmont NH. We got the rears and rockers installed this weekend, fronts were done a few weeks ago.
Went with 8" Overline on the front and 6" on the rear. The only real issues with the installs were 15 year old bolts on a Jeep that has lived it's life outdoors until the last 2 1/2 years and the Poison Spider corner armor needed to be deinstalled and trimmed for clearance around the rear mounting plates.
The side panels in the front are temporary, I got the vented ones as well and they are going to be painted body color and installed in the spring.

Re: MetalCloak Fenders and rockers
The 8” flares look like they cover the tires enough for inspection, what about the rears?

Re: MetalCloak Fenders and rockers
Got them on my TJ, been very happy with them. Got the rear bumper on with their tire carrier as well. I have been waiting to pull the trigger on doing the same to the JKUR.
I would say if you're doing the whole jeep with Metalcloak, a proper rivnut tool (think a pop rivet gun, but for rivnuts) would be useful. I had two or three that got a little crooked...

Re: MetalCloak Fenders and rockers
Thanks guys.
Only the top front bolt on the rockers get rivnuts on the LJ, TJ gets three per side on the rockers.
The person that helped with these was impressed with the quality and construction. Everything lined up with the factory bolt holes with no drilling/ grinding/ whacking with a hammer to get them to fit. He said will be getting a full set for theirs this spring so I'll be helping with that install on a TJ.
They are the exact same coverage (when viewed from the top) as the Bushwacker flats that were on there previously, so theoretically they should be no issue. Worst case, I'll make a plastic spacer that I can install using the end bolts to add more coverage for inspections. Re: MetalCloak Fenders and rockers
Thanks. For those concerned about passing inspection in NH, no issues, it passed. Also, turned out the guy doing the inspection used to wheel and was a member of Deep Woods Extreme a long time ago.
