Just have a reasonably fresh battery, clean and tight wire connections, run your engine while winching and you're good.
Maybe invest in a $40 hand throttle kit. Useful for bumping your engine speed while winching, driving in a sticky spot, etc.

It would help, but for the $ it isn't enough... 140A might get ~30% of the current from the alternator instead of 3%-5%, and what RPM does the engine have to be running to get it? Look up the specs on a winch... My Warn M8000 will pull 435A at max pull rating (8000lbs) and it takes 80A just to turn the spool -- the battery will wind up doing the work.

As Kurt said -- Just make sure you have a decent battery and you should be fine.
