I am sure FCA has its hands full these days but there is a popular Jeep enthusiast YouTuber who recently got his apparel shutdown by FCA because it included a picture/liking of a JK, violating intellectual property [IP] laws. Crazy but true. This is why some fabricators use six or eight slots on their stuff. Seven slot grill is trademarked.
"As you may know, the Jeep® Grille (the "Mark") is a registered trademark of FCA US and cannot be used without FCA US's permission. Please be advised that any unauthorized use by you of the Mark in connection with the identified goods, i.e., aftermarket automobile parts and accessories and clothing, or on any other related goods, is infringement of FCA US's Mark and is likely to confuse customers as to the source, origin and/or sponsorship of related services and products. At the very least, consumers are likely to believe that your use of the Mark is approved or sponsored by FCA US. Any unauthorized use of the Mark by you now or in the future constitutes infringement and will cause FCA US irreparable injury. We, therefore, must insist that you immediately cease and desist any sale of aftermarket automobile parts and accessories, clothing and any other goods bearing the Mark and/or agree not to sell such items in the future."
Just in case any of you are wondering why the Trail Beast grille design has eight teeth . . .
