Power Steering HELP!!!!!!!!!

ok so me an 3 other jeep friends PS are leaking PS fluid around where the shaft enters the box (topside) so i got a new seal for it and was wondering if anyone knew how to do this.. i got my 99 jeep wrangler FSM in the mail yesterday... but they are all the way across the house :(

I just put stop leak in mine, and kept filling it. I would not leave the house without power steering fluid in it.

Don't add stop leak. It only displaces the proper fluid and will not help a wasted seal.

There is a lock ring, dust boot, and then the seal. You'll probably have to drill a couple of small holes 180* apart to help pry it out.

It's not hard to do, just get off yur ass and git 'r done.

I think there was something with my pump, it was a few years ago. That Jeep peed it like it was free.
