Air bag light and CEL code P0455
Anyone know what can cause the airbag light to pop up? My CEL came on Friday night on the way home (code P0455) I figured loose gas cap again, but Saturday the airbag light came on too, while I was driving. Is this a dealer only diagnostic, or can my local guy figure it out maybe?

Those lights would come on for me when the plug behind my dash would come loose.

P0455 is for a "Evap leak monitor large leak detected"
Start buy looking at all the vacuum lines on the evap system under the hood located near the brake master cyl.

I checked the vacuum lines...nothing obvious....which plug came loose? They all seem to have snap-locks, not sure how they could even get loose.

OMG that happens to me 2 the airbag light stays on for like 10 seconds after the jeep starts also same trouble code
the evap line to the TB is kinda damaged at the plug part but idk where you could get a replacement maybe auto-zone.. do they make a complete kit with all the hoses or sell them individually...

That's funny, last Summer I melted through all of the lines to and from my evap canister on my way to Vermont and never had a CEL.
Wesley, I think the airbag light is supposed to come on for a few seconds while the vehicle does it's self test when first started.

Mine used to stay on for about 10 seconds...now it's lit up like a xmas tree all the time.
