The front seats in my '88 YJ are trash, picked up a replacement set. And while they LOOK identical, slider mounts are way different. Original seats had mounting holes 12.5", center to center. 'New' seats are 14"
My first thought was to grab a piece of steel, cut, drill some holes and say 'look, a YJ seat slider adapter! ' but is there a bolt-on solution? Something I could order and work on more pressing stuff?

Had a couple responses on YJ specific groups, I need to bite the bullet and fab up a steel plate / adapter. Shouldn't take long, I was just being lazy and its not like we're tripping over YJ's in this club but I'll do a tech write up for Tracks when I fab the plate

I doubt TJ bases would work for you but I have the set of them with the fold and tumble from when I converted them to suspension seats. Yours for free if ya can use em.

Re: YJ Seats and Sliders
Mark and Jeff - thanks guys! Turns out I overthought / over-engineered a solution, one more reason I shouldn't be left without adult supervision. Turns out all I needed was (2) 3" strips of steel to get the rear bolts back in (with some minor mods, obviously) The front bolt holes are a different story. The tricky engineer bastids made them a half inch further apart and well here I am with 3 of 4 bolts on my drivers seat but I'm not bitchin, it's good enough for now. The correct riser asmy and/or correct slider will get my azz firmly planted but that will have to wait
Oh yeah, this is the sliders themselves that aren't lining up, not the riders/tumble asmy....
EDIT:
Which may or may not be the correct ones. LOL this 30 year old rig has seen some chit every time I look closely I find something else
