Anyone played around with these?
Getting ready to replace my winch rope, and thinking about tying a few from the good sections of old rope to keep kicking around in the Jeep. Seem like they'd be handy to have on strap joins and whatnot. Any opinions either way?
I'll probably end up tying them regardless, as I've got ~90' of rope that I'd feel bad about tossing, and splicing practice is always good. Just interested to hear the general consensus.

I will be replacing my rope next year and will make a loop on each end of my current one to have a nice rope for those long pulls

I was also planning on making a rope extension if I've got a solid 25-30' in there. I don't want to spend all my time tying up shacklesRandyCarol wrote:I will be replacing my rope next year and will make a loop on each end of my current one to have a nice rope for those long pulls
