baystate run 7/10/10

Unread post by Hoodoo Man »

Had a great time today and a good turn out despite the rain. Had a good 1/2" of water in the front mats when i got home doorless and windowless like more than a few of you. Anyone have a good recommendations for keeping the inside of the windshield dry in the rain LOL. I only took a hand full of pictures as I was at the back of the pack on the medium/easy group. A big thanks to Jon for leading us on a great run nad our group had no breakage. This was my first time out with my long arms and D44s, can wait to get the lockers turned on. what a difference 4.10s make over 3.07s wish i did this last year...

Hope you all made it home ok and the hard group did good too. Good to see Lou on the trail as well!

We dealt with the rain and kept moving forward. It was a good day on trails with the rain making some of the ledges interesting...
We did great till the encountered the MUD pit. :D
Both John Curtis decided they would audition for a job as a Boston Duck boat Captian  ......
 I believe Curtis got the job :o
Got off the trails around 3:30 and back to the meeting spot where Curtis waited on AAA as his motor never got fully dry..

Curtis got the edge I'd say
The last few poics are actually video , not sure why they do not show arrow t oplay..
Click on the pic and will take you to the video

Glad to hear everyone had a good time. As it was we only needed a couple of straps and no one in our group broke anything -- a good day in spite of the weather.

I would have liked to have taken us down the pebbles & bam-bam trail, but with the rain it could have really sucked!

geeze, we got soaked, looks like you guys didn't get wet at ALL, and there's even dust in your pics!! LOL!!!!

My knees were/are shot from yesterday. I had fun even with all the rain/mud. Can I say, the blue berries and raspberries were delish!

Looks like an awesome run. I wish I would have gone. The wife and dogs got my time though. I met John (red XJ on 34s) Friday night when I bought his old wheels and he was trying to get me to go. Next time. XJ looks great on the trail.

something wrong here. Looks like Curtis is the one who's stuck, why is Kelly out slogging around in the water?
