Hey all,
Names Dave and i bought a Fern green 2000 Sport Auto 162k with more frame rust than initially thought. needless to say it hasn't fully swayed me away from Jeeps just kinda a sour first note.
I am not a quitter but this is gonna be a big first project.

None the less HI! I hope to be around for a long while.

Not entirely sure why it posted sideways...lol

I have more pic of the rust and such if you all would like to see.

It is mostly stock with cut fenders and 31's on ZJ rims (previous owners work)

Needs a ton of maintenance etc but it runs well, hasn't cracked the 0331 head (i did research) and drives mostly well (needs brakes and such) BUT I don't wanna jump in if the frame is too far gone, if it is then i would most likely sell for parts or part it to get a better candidate.
here is a pic of the frame.
Any advice would be appreciated

The hole in the Frame is concerning, especially because of its location next to he leaf spring

Bring it back to the seller and tell them it wont pass inspection . Much better off starting with a different one. There are a lot of Cherokees out there. Im in Enfield , Just down the street a piece. Got a couple members here and in between us. FjR68
