New Guy From Norton MA
Hello All!
Getting into back into jeeps after 14 years. Started with a 85 CJ7 and just started a project on a 2005 LJ.
I started jeeping in my home town in San Diego back in 1998. I restored a CJ7 and was lucky enough to take her to the Rubicon Trail, Glamis Sand Dunes, Big Bear, and Superstition Mountains. I drove my CJ from SD to Ma in 2004, when I met my wife who is MA native. Saddest day of my life when I sold my CJ7 for a "Real Car". Fast forward 14 years later, and I just purchased a 2005 LJ ( 4" lift with 35" tires) and have been working the bugs out over the last few weeks.
In my free time, I work as an airline pilot for JB based out of Logan. As also fly as a dream flight pilot for a local non profit giving underprivileged kids and at risk youth the gift of flight.
Looking forward to joining a family oriented club and hitting the trails with some new friends and helping out others who might be new to jeeps.

Did I sell you my CJ back in 2006?
If so, send pics!

Welcome fellow LJer. My neighbor is a pilot for JB too, guy named Vincent, he's originally from TX.
Speed costs money, how slow do you want to go?

Welcome! In Corporate aviation we refer pilots to as ‘window lickers’, but that’s just a term on endearment. LJ is a great choice, I might have gone that way if I knew I was going to wheel as much as I do.

I'm trying to convince him to do a little trail riding with the JKU.ryecall wrote:Modeler, I know Vincent. Gret guy! We have flown together a few times and enjoy talking jeeps (on the ground of course).

Ill take being a window licker as a complement. I spent my previous life flying part135, and always enjoyed making fun of 121 guys. Hope to swap some stories out on the trail.

Let me know if i can apply some extra pressure. Last time we worked together was during a NorEaster, I asked how his drive in was. He should me a picture of his JKU and said he had no problems.Modeler wrote:I'm trying to convince him to do a little trail riding with the JKU.ryecall wrote:Modeler, I know Vincent. Gret guy!
