Hi all. New member as of today.

Nothing at this point. Just a JKU with an oem rear limited slip.

I'll pull off the plow frame so I can go offroad and will be looking for better tires.
How long have you been a member of Baystate?
Oh, 3 hours. :E
How long have you been offroading?
Haven't really seriously offroaded. Some woods roads when I lived in western MA. A little messing around in Grafton (not mentioning where.....because I read the rules)
Is this your first jeep?
Nope: Had a YJ, TJ and another JKU so this is my 4th

Welcome Jack, we have a couple runs coming up stock jeep friendly. Also if you want to jump in a passenger seat on a harder trail there are usually always seats available.

Welcome to the group! Hope to see you out there one of these days. Stock Jeeps can do some amazing things, and with a few simple mods you will be able to do a fair bit out there.
'97 thats been chopped up and put back together, and ready to take on the trails.

Re: New from Hopkinton, MA
Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Happy to have been booted off the wait list. Rather than clog up the tech section with a newbie question....are the stock tow hooks ok?
My son and I took off my snowplow frame last night. Instant 4" more front clearance. Fire extinguisher mounted and I've read through some of the forum and will wait till an event to buy an FRS pre-programmed radio. Just have to get the tow straps into the back (I have a couple already) and the rest of the required equipment. Looking forward to coming to events and learning new stuff. I'm sure I'll also be looking to tag along in the passenger seat for more hard core wheeling.

Sounds good Jack. Stock tow points are fine. Did you get the evites? If you get daring enough you can drive my junk on the hard trails.

Mark, I did get the evites. So far, I've only rsvp'd to the ones I know I can't make. Trying to arrange things to get out this coming or the following weekend.

Not too far from you and in Grafton every day! Might have to get together some time.
I use to do a lot of 4x4ing out in Peru, MA. Had a cabin way out in the boonies. Lots of trail riding! Those were the good old days!
PS - Nice Jeep!
