I decided to relocate the evap canister on the '08 ( not touching the '16 one yet). I replaced the leak detector module and inner seal as well as vent line. As opposed to splicing it, I ran a new one right to the fill neck breather in order to decrease the likelihood of any leaks. I had to extend the line from the tank / roll over tube slightly. Every hose is double clamped. After about 1/2 tank I pulled a P0440 code then the gas cap indicator popped up on the display (replaced it). I can clear it via the OBD port but it reappears within a few days.I know on the '12 JKs you have to flip the module 180 degrees? All lines and connections seem solid. Has anyone had a similar issue after a relocation? I know it doesn't effect the engine but chasing this things is starting to tick me off.
Thoughts? Thanks!
