Wrenchfest Request

Unread post by Cannoli »

Not sure what the protocol is for a wrechfest, but I would love some help installing my lift. It's a basic Rancho 2" lift that is just coils and shocks. I don't mind doing the dirty work, but my mechanical knowledge is limited so I would feel a heck of lot more comfortable with someone experienced to help. It is my daily driver so I don't want to have it apart then realize I am in way over my head or figure out how to deal with the inevitable problems that may occur. I know it's not a big lift, but still looking forward to no longer being stock. I can make myself available almost any day other than May 19 and the next 5 Sundays.

I’m always up for that whenever I can, let’s see how this pans out with time/place and I’ll do what I can to help if I can get away from wife/work

I'd be up for helping as well. I have a spring compressor that I found very helpful when doing my coil springs.
Chrome? Never heard of it.

You guys are awesome! I truly appreciate everyones willingness to help me out. Unfortunately my garage is just big enough for the jeep only. No room to move around it. Does anyone have any indoor space where we could work?

You are welcome to have the wrenchfest at my place. Two garage bays with space and plenty of tools.

Kurt, thank you very much for your generosity! What date works best for everyone? Not sure if people prefer a weekday or a Saturday. I can do just about any day during the week or Saturday May 12.

I assume most would prefer a Saturday due to work schedules.
As of now Saturday May 19th looks good. No BSJ events that day.

May 19th is the only Saturday that I cannot do. Is the 12th a possibility?

The 12th is N.G. for me. Already committed to be at the F&F work day.
Next opportunity I can see is Sunday June 10.

Got it. I'm grateful for the help so let's go with June 10 if that works for everyone.
