Re: Wrenchfest - D60 axle install
I'm a definite....... Maybe. If nothing is going on at home I'd really like to help. Haven't turned a wrench at Chez Kurt in a while

I can't order driveshafts until everything is in and measured, but they will be replaced.

Re: Wrenchfest - D60 axle install
I May be able to make it up to Kurt's to try to help out (I have "some" mechanical knowledge, from about 35 years ago). I'm going to be doing at least the front 60 at one point (if not both). But was also looking to get some parts on before the Rally, and may need a part of that weekend at home to do so (or a sidebar at the wrench fest for Diff covers and fluid change).

Re: Wrenchfest - D60 axle install
Wrenchfest reminder. This weekend is it! If anyone is interested in helping out we will be starting Saturday morning at Kurts. Should be a standard swap, but with something like this an issue or two usually pops up and I'm sure it won't be anything we can't handle. Anyone is welcome, no experience necessary. Attached are a couple of pics of what is being installed:

At this point, I should be free. If we get everything wrapped up on yours, I'll have a couple projects we can tackle on mine haha

Re: Wrenchfest - D60 axle install
I really hate to ask but ....
would there be time/someone to help me with a skid or two? Somehow the bolts got all mashed and my girly arms can't get them bolts out.
