Failed State Inspection- stock fog not working

Unread post by ASauer17 »

What? Has anyone ever failed state inspection for their STOCK fog light being out? Not the head lights... but a fog light?

(my light is somewhat broken-- you need to bang on it to work).

Or fix it. Successful percussive maintenance usually indicates a bad connection near where you're hitting. Check any connections and make sure the bulb is seated properly.

I could remove, but i like fogs! Connection to the actual fog is good. Replaced bulb and that did nothing.. I wonder if it's the housing unit

There could be an internal connection. Can you disassemble the housing?

All I'm saying is take fogs off get sticker put back on. If need sticker immediately. Usually fog lights ground through housing see if have good ground point.
