Most people with a TJ/YJ/CJ and XJ run 15" wheels, JKs come with 16" or 17" you can run 15" wheels on a JK but run the risk of rubbing on the calipers there is a thread in Jeep forum on what wheels clear on the JK if you wish to go that route...

I have 15x12.5 wheels with 35s. I like the wider surface.

I love my 315/70r/70 Duratracs. Echincally they are all-terrain, but have a more aggressive tire tread.
