Recommended roadforce balancing shops

Unread post by Paul F Boundy »

I just had 5 BFG KO 2s roadforce balanced. But I was met with the 'printer was down' and one of the tire wheel combos was"out" and has been marked as 'Spare'.
4 of the tires have 2.5 -3.5 oz of weight on them but the one marked spare has a whopping 14+oz of weight. 6oz on inside rim edge and 8.5 on opposite side hub.
Looking for shop in the north central MA southern NH area.
Thanks

Paul

I'm not sure about having roadforce balance machines, but the Meineke in Amherst NH did well with my 33 MT's. No printouts to prove anything, but they were smooth up to highway speeds.

14 OZs ????? They could have rotated the tire on the rim or some thing else. No need for that. I would have checked the runout of that bare rim first to eliminate the rim being bent. If its not the rim , it would be the tire and being new they would exchange it. FjR68

Yes I believe they will balance beadlocks as well. Lou used to work for an alingment equipment company and all the techs at Elias do top notch work.
